The armory - new stickers & limitless scraping
Counter-Strike enthusiasts and especially us sticker collectors, have reason to celebrate with the latest update. This patch introduces exciting new content and features that will enhance your sticker collecting experience. Let's dive into the details most relevant to stickers.
New Sticker Collections
The update brings two new sticker collections, elemental craft as well as sticker craft to the game with a total of 47 new stickers. Especially the Googly Eye (Lenticular) will offer a great opportunity for fun crafts.
A few stickers from the new collection, three in the top row are from the elemental craft collection & the lower row are from the sticker craft collection.
The Armory: A New Way to Acquire Stickers
The introduction of the Armory offers a new avenue for obtaining stickers:
- The Armory is now available in the store.
- It features the two new sticker collections mentioned above.
- Players can purchase and activate an Armory Pass to start earning Armory Credits.
- Progress towards credits is made whenever you earn XP with an active Armory Pass.
- Credits can be redeemed for items in the Armory, including stickers from the new collections.
Enhanced Inventory Management
Several quality-of-life improvements have been made to inventory management, which will benefit sticker collectors:
- All stickers available on the Steam Community Market, in the Armory, or on friends' Steam Inventory web pages can now be previewed on your own inventory items.
- A sticker scrape level selector has been added when applying new stickers to weapons.
- A precise sticker wear level selector is now available when scraping existing stickers on inventory weapons. Note that any applied stickers can only increase their sticker scrape level.
- A new option to immediately remove existing stickers from inventory weapons has been added, in addition to sticker scraping.
Trading and Market Changes
An important change for traders and market enthusiasts:
- All items acquired from the in-game store (including the Armory), Trade Offers, and Steam Community Market are now subject to a 7-day re-trade and re-market restriction.
